I recently caught myself having a full conversation in my head…
…and somehow still losing the argument.
If you’re just finding this post first and want more context, Blog 4 shares a little more about the mindset shifts and fears that kept me stuck longer than I’d like to admit.
Blog 4: The Real Reason Most People Stay Stuck Before Creating Another Income Stream

And it made me realize something:
I wasn’t actually trying to make a decision.
I was trying to eliminate all uncertainty before making one.
I’ve done this more times than I can count—especially when it came to money, work, and making changes.
Thinking through every angle.
Weighing every risk.
Trying to predict every outcome.
Convincing myself I was being “smart” and “responsible.”
But really?
I was just staying in the same place longer than I needed to.
Because here’s what I started to understand:
Clarity doesn’t always come before action.
A lot of times… it comes because of it.
When I started exploring different ways to create income and flexibility, I didn’t have everything figured out. I didn’t feel 100% confident. I didn’t have guarantees. What I had was a willingness to try something different… and figure it out as I went.
And to be real about it— It hasn’t been perfect. It takes effort, consistency, and learning. Results aren’t guaranteed, and they’re different for everyone. But taking that first step? That changed everything for me.
I stopped waiting to feel completely ready…
and started moving anyway.
If you’ve ever talked yourself in circles trying to make the “right” decision…
you’re not alone.
Sometimes the shift isn’t having all the answers.
It’s deciding you’re done sitting in the same place.
If any part of this resonated with you, I’d genuinely love to know.
Are you in a season of wanting more… or just trying to hold things together right now.
Looking back now, I think the biggest shift wasn’t even about money.
